How To Be A Successful Entrepreneur Part 2

Once someone has decided they will accept the territory and take the pursuit of an entrepreneur, it is critical to maintain focus through the obstacles. When I started in the business with my published book, I thought it would be an instant success. I learned how it works and seen that it is a process. Some people don’t realize their dreams because they never start it, or will get deterred and don’t finish.

The year 2008 was my most discouraging year for my career. Fresh out of my rookie season, it was my second year in the industry, and I wasn’t getting the results and exposure I wanted. In addition to my efforts, I reached out to others in the media and in the business that could help me advance. I faced rejections, or I met people that didn’t follow through.

I was handling personal issues in life and struggling with finances. My career was at a standstill and this was a moment I was pondering its future. I could not see light at the end of the tunnel, but I knew there was hope. This could have been a crushing moment.

I adopted the attitude that I will make it with or without the help I sought from others. I believed in my vision, and knew I had a purpose to fulfill. I made a decision to continue pushing. I learned from my mistakes, stayed active in the game, established solid connections, and made significant progress.

When I see where I am today, it is a reminder of reasons not to stop. I realized my experiences were for preparation, and it made me imagine what else there is to come. Each piece of progress is a step toward building your success.

My friends would tell me that I have done a lot already, but I am never content where I’m at. I also realized that anytime I thought I wasn’t where I want to be, I acknowledged that I was in the making of being successful, and when I reached new heights and met new people, it was a preview of my future.

At the end of the day, perseverance and endurance is a bulk of how to be a successful entrepreneur.
