Just What If...Two Brother Coaches Meet or Randy Moss Face Old Team, Pats etc.

What if the New England Patriots fall to the Baltimore
Ravens? If San Francisco defeats the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC
Championship game, the Super Bowl will be a battle of two coach brothers, Jim
Harbaugh (SF) and John Harbaugh (BAL). Put the two together, ‘Jim/John.’ Will it
be as good as ‘Jimmy Johns’ sandwiches?
The NFL hasn’t seen a Super Bowl brother duel in
quarterbacks, Eli Manning (NYG), and Peyton Manning (DEN). Not even when Peyton
was a Colt, we did not see a Colts/Giants Super Bowl. However, these two
brothers did win Super Bowl titles a season apart. Peyton and the Colts
defeated the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI, and Eli followed with his title
versus New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.
If it pans out that Ravens and 49ers meet in the Super Bowl,
this will be the first time two brother coaches meet for the title. Both will
want to win the game, but regardless who wins, both will be winners behind the
scenes because one will be happy to celebrate for the other. They will share
the success.
How about . . .
If the Patriots defeat the Ravens in the AFC Championship
game, and the 49ers advance to the Super Bowl, 49ers wide receiver Randy Moss
will meet his old teammate ‘Tommy,’ as he referred to Brady during his tenure
in New England. It was an opportunity for Moss to capture his first NFL
championship ring when the Patriots fell to the Giants after a perfect season. Even
after Randy Moss caught the touchdown pass that seemingly sealed the deal for
New England and put his team ahead 14-10. Perhaps the most upsetting game in
football history, Moss and the ‘Bradyans’ lost their chance after the Giants
miracle comeback.
So, after all of that, what if Randy Moss and the 49ers meet
the Patriots for the title? Randy Moss can win with his new team after
returning from retirement. How interesting it will be for Moss to defeat the
team (New England Patriots) where his chances were highly favored to win!
