What’s interesting about the Super Bowl is throughout the season and after all the football action, picks, and team analysis, you never know who will be the two teams to compete for the Lombardi Trophy!

Even more interesting…

Super Bowl 47 is a historic one marking the first time two brother coaches compete head to head for the title.

Ravens linebacker, Ray Lewis can retire and go out on top with a Super Bowl win.

The 49ers can continue their undefeated Super Bowl win record. If they defeat the Baltimore Ravens, the franchise will be 6-0 all time in the Super Bowl.

49ers receiver, Randy Moss can win his first ring. He also declared that he is the best receiver that ever played this game.

The Matchups

Both teams are matched evenly, but not quite. If I were to be an NFL coach, I could not go wrong coaching either team. Considering Baltimore has come a long way in the playoffs being underdogs, they can win this Super Bowl with the confidence and momentum they have.

Both teams have a solid running game. If I had a choice in which running back to pick, I would have Frank Gore. @CoachBilllick also highlighted on @NFLN_Playbook a strength Gore has besides rushing. That was the blocking effect he has on passing plays.

Baltimore and San Francisco has high quality quarterbacks. I like Joe Flacco and his rocket-arm like passing ability, but Colin Kaepernick is my pick for QB’s because of his agility and speed in addition to his passing success.

Each team has a nice set of receiver corps. Only because Randy Moss (SF) is not the receiver he was, and Mario Manningham (SF) is injured, I am taking the Ravens receivers, Anquan Boldin, Jacoby Jones and Torrey Smith versus 49ers receivers, Randy Moss and Michael Crabtree. I pick the 49ers in the tight end depth with Vernon Davis and Delanie Walker versus Ravens, Dennis Pita and other tight ends.

On the defensive end, I pick the 49ers all across the board from front four, to linebackers. Except, the Ravens have a better safety in beast, Ed Reed. Kaepernick: watch out for this guy in SB47!

The Ravens have the kicker advantage. Sterling Sharpe said on @NFLN_Playbook regarding missed field goal opportunities (14 beyond 30 yards) by David Akers, 49ers kicker, “His confidence has gotten to be shot.” The 49ers want to be careful in this match and not get in a field goal situation. Akers will have more pressure on him than Ravens rookie kicker, Justin Tucker. Which one is scarier: rookie kicker going for the field goal in a game deciding situation or Akers who might have a trembling leg with the record of missed kicks in the back of his mind?

Who’s gonna win?!!!
