After the ire of the fan reaction to hanging the banner of Ravens quarterback in Mile High Stadium next to Peyton Manning, Thursday Night football was the night for it to all come together.

Peyton Manning, one ring. Joe Flacco, one ring, just recently secured, faced off and took the field for the opening of the 2013 football season. In Mile High Stadium, where the Legendary John Elway is live and well in the Broncos football mix! This is an exciting combination of things going on, and that is just a piece of it.

It can’t all be good, there is always some setbacks in the goods. The game was delayed due to a lightning storm warning. It finally kicked off, but a quick shout out to 17 year old, @DBradbery for opening with the National Anthem! Always good to see the youth pursuing their dreams and moving forward!

The Ravens were the first team to the touch the football at game time. the fans and crowd noise was off the chain as Joe Flacco and the Ravens took an early three and out.

Peyton Manning and his Broncos did the opposite on their first drive, keeping the ball alive on 3rd and 8 with a pass completion. A few more dropped passes later, the Broncos went out.

Those are the typical first drives, but the Ravens broke the ice on their second drive with a touchdown reception from fullback, Vonta Leach.
