On Brandon Marshall’s 10 million dollar statement, he backed it up after dropping an open pass  on 4th and 2 early in the first quarter on the Giants own 3 yard line. After Tim Jennings returned an interception for the Bears first TD of the game, Marshall was responsible for their next two scores that gave Chicago a 21-14 lead midway through the second. He was their weapon and reason for winning tonight’s game.

Eli Manning woke up after throwing two back to back interceptions on the Giants first two drives of the game. Brandon Jacobs was big for the Giants with 22 carries for 106 yards for two touchdowns. He was the x-factor that no one banked on to be a challenge for the Chicago.

Eli, the quarterback who ESPN claimed to be the 4th quarter comeback king had his final chance until he threw an interception with under 3 minutes in the fourth. It was another Tim Jennings pick. Manning finished with a total of 3 INT’s, passer rating 58.5, while Cutler came in at 106.5, having not being sacked once in the game. Eli has 17 interceptions this season.

Chicago went on to win 27-21 and improve to 4-2. NYG dropped to 0-6.

The Bears will travel to take on RG3 and the ‘Skins on Sunday 10/20 @1PM ET.

NYG are still trying to get on board. Their next game is another primetime NFC match hosting Minnesota Vikings in Metlife Stadium
