I found this article interesting on President Barack Obama comparing himself to Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. I am a huge sports fan. As you can see, I visited my sports website where I go frequently, espn.com! That is how I ended up here, writing and talking to you about it!

When I read this article, I said, “That’s A Winning Perspective!” A part of my message A Winning Perspective is about having a positive mindset, how you choose to respond to your life challenges, learn from your experiences, and staying focused on your vision even when you face adversity.

For the love of sports, I make analogies of it to life such as football. That is what President Obama did here. He stated, “In the sense of you can't be distracted by what's around you, you've got to be looking downfield." He also said, "And I think that's a quality that I have, not getting flustered in what's around me.”

That is the President’s positive mindset when he speaks in terms of people trying to bring him down, like defenders trying to take the quarterback down. He is staying focused and not worried about what comes at him to a point of getting him off his track.

On another note, we are Chicago! First Lady, Michelle Obama is a Whitney Young Dolphin, class of ‘81, just as I am class of ’98. As an ambitious speaker in my career, President Barack Obama is one of my favorite speakers, and I’ve aspired to speak powerful and crisp as he.
