Nate Gray: A Winning Perspective on Lisa Nichols

Just recently, I got the opportunity to meet Lisa Nichols, millionaire entrepreneur, speaker and author of the new book, Abundance Now!



Lisa was in my hometown at the Chicago Public Library downtown Chicago on the Abundance Now book tour. I first heard of Lisa early in my career around 2008 from a Mega Book New York book marketing seminar and conference I attended by Mark Victor Hansen.

Moments before meeting her, I spoke from the audience and let her know that in my career as an emerging entrepreneur, author and speaker, I was inspired by her in different ways and I witnessed her inspiration is real. I stated, “I was inspired by something just as simple as the “Power Jam” call, the conference you hosted back in the summer last year with your team!”

During the presentation, Lisa responded to one of the attendees. When I heard Lisa’s response, I said, “That’s A Winning Perspective!” My message A Winning Perspective is about your perception and how you choose to respond to life challenges and transform adversity into opportunities to live your life and dreams.

A woman in attendance stated she wanted to quit her job and follow her dream.

In Lisa’s response after telling everyone not to quit their day job she said, ‘You do not get any entrepreneur medals for quitting your job”

Her response reminded me of how I felt early in my career when I wanted to leave Corporate America after publishing my first book, “From Him to Us: Volume 1.” More on this story and my experience meeting Lisa Nichols, in my new book A Winning Perspective coming soon.
