Positive Energy and the Right Circle of People

Monday Motivation from Nate Gray Zone for the week of February 22, 2016

Although you are your own entity, and the sole player in your field, you still need a team and the right circle of people around you. This applies to many aspects of life and business. Some examples are:

1.) Corporate business: I have worked for fortune 500 companies in Corporate America for over 10 years. Every CEO and president of a corporation or company has a team to help operate and run the business. In Corporate America, the CEO’ s have many teams under them such as VP’s, admin execs, information technology, compliance, marketing, and media relations on down to customer service.

I’ve watched my wife, a senior business analyst and project manager, launch a nonprofit organization, Blazers Required, an etiquette program in Chicago. As she builds her company, she works with a team of other business analysts and project managers, sponsors, small business owners, volunteers, the community and other nonprofits

2.) Sports- I am a huge sports fan, and in all major professional sports, the players that are proclaimed as the greatest in their leagues need a team to help them win. When given the praise and accolades for their work, they acknowledge the help of their teammates and say they could not have done it alone. This is for all the greats and legends playing or have played with their teammates in basketball, hockey, baseball and football. Even the sports you see only one person competing alone such as tennis, boxing, skiing, martial arts, gymnastics, and golf, they all have a team of trainers, coaches and other support staff to help them.
