CHAMPS Mentoring First Annual Born 2 Win Basketball Tournament

 

The Champs Male Mentoring Program First Annual Born 2 Win Basketball tournament on June 29, 2021 in Chicago was a success! Good work by Vondale Singleton of Champs Mentoring to create and host this event! Vondale is doing great things in the community. It was an honor to have met him back in 2012, and fast forward to see what Champs is continuing to do today.

Dr. Eric Thomas was the guest speaker for the event. ET was on fire as always 🔥🔥🔥and this was the first time I got a chance to see him speak in person beside seeing his videos on Instagram and YouTube. He left some positive takeaways that not only the youth can use, but people of al ages. It was also an honor to sign a copy of latest book Break Through for ET! I hope he and I can connect some where in the future. I did not expect to meet him this soon. 

The energy in the room was all love and positive. It was fun to even shoot a few hoops with the kids in between games. Y'all know I grew up in Chicago with hoop dreams 🏀 watching the Bulls win 6 NBA championships 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆!
