Sometimes the goal is set but the goal is not always met. In the midst of struggling with my own personal goal of maintaining my physical fitness consistently year over year without stopping and starting over, I learned 3 keys that can help with goal setting and goal maintenance. 


1 Clear Mindset- I have fitness as a goal because physical fitness equals mindset fitness for me. My mind has to be clear as an entrepreneur, working man, family man, investor, etc. when your mind is clear, you are able to focus and  everything else can flow. What are some things you can do to have a clear mindset for your goals?


2. Consider the long term benefits: Although there are immediate benefits in working out or other short term goals like preparing for a trip etc, I want to maintain this body now for later. These bodies are not forever and I want to do everything I can on my part to make sure I am as healthy as possible. What are some long term benefits you can consider of the goal you are trying to reach?


3. Practice Discipline: I figured if I can discipline myself to stay consistent with my workout goal, maintain the routine, meal plans, and workout schedule, then I can master the power of discipline and apply that toward completing another goal. Any goal takes discipline and commitment. What are some things you can do for discipline to work on and complete your goals?
